L P General Am I blind? I do not see a throttle. 2/25/2014 10:39:43 AM
Chuck Zeiler General The throttle is the vertical level to the left of the right window connected to a link that passes through the cab wall. 2/25/2014 10:44:49 AM
L P General I was kind of wondering, but I figured there would have been a racket like theReverser. Got any idea what the handle does next to it? 2/25/2014 3:13:45 PM
Chuck Zeiler General If you are referring to the lower right lever with the red handle, that is the reverser (Johnson bar). 2/25/2014 3:50:53 PM
L P General No I was refering to the handle that goes out the cab by what you told me was the throttle. 2/25/2014 7:34:48 PM
Chuck Zeiler General I believe that lever (with the loop shaped handle) is the sander. 2/26/2014 10:18:01 AM
L P General Chuck was kind enough to email me a picture of the outside of the locomotive. The lever identified as the throttle above is attached to a valve on the sand box and the handle grip is the throttle since goes to a valve on the steam dome and with pipes going down most likely to the cylinders. Thanks Chuck for clearing up confusion. :-) 2/26/2014 11:53:52 AM
Chuck Zeiler General Thank goodness we cleared that up. I was confused myself . Thanks LP. 2/26/2014 12:22:06 PM
