From steamlocomotive.com: In the 1893 Columbian Exposition, the locomotive had neither a railroad nor a road number. Instead, it was described by Schenectady as an industrial switcher used in the builder's own yard. Sometime after Schenectady amalgamated with other builders to form the American Locomotive Company, it produced a data card for the engine and gave it C&NW road number 459. Locobase's research suggests the engine never actually bore that number.
