Railroad Park: Swanton VT  Contributor's Pick!       
The railroad park located on S. River Street in Swanton VT. The site is the location of the former StJ&LC roundhouse, with the turntable and inspection pits still notable. The depot is former CV/StJLC and was moved here from about a half mile away and beautifully restored. CV caboose 4009 is on site as well. The bridge over the Missisquoi River serves a foot and bicycle trail now was moved from another location as well and replaced the St John's covered bridge that burned in 1987.

Rick Morgan General Yes, in that the CV tracks are behind the me here. The Montrealer/Washingtonian (tr 21/20) operated from New York and Boston to Montreal, joining at White River Jct. 5/18/2014 3:59:42 PM
