| (2-4-4) Steam switcher at Reserve, Louisiana - boiler built by Burnham & Williams, Sept. 1898 and engine assembled by Baldwin Locomotive works, Philadelphia, PA. Originally built as a 0-4-4 switcher based 36' narrow gauge. Engine was rebuilt to the same gauge with addition of a forward lead truck - year of rebuild unknown. The engine originally worked at the Godchaux Sugar Plantation at Raceland, LA and in 1951 was moved to the Godchaux Reserve Plantation. |
