WC 703 - Wisconsin Central  Contributor's Pick!       
Nee-SOO #703, never repainted and still lingering in the yard after it was supposedly retired a year earlier in October of 1987. No photographer listed. Although Madison, WI, was listed on the back of the photo, Andre Wehrle (see comment below) has more accurately identified the location as Fond du Lac. Thanks, Andre, for your help!

Andre Wehrle General Pretty sure this Shops in Fond du Lac...WC did not operate trackage in Madison. I suppose one or two of their units could have shown up from time to time (I think they did a special tour with the 3026/3027 for the WI Sesquicentennial where they posed with WSOR 1848), but that's about it. 4/11/2019 4:03:59 PM
