| CRI&P E7 641 at Roosevelt Road in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in July 1978, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. A question came up about those half tube shaped items just in front of and behind the four exhaust stacks of each prime mover. A modeling web site called them exhaust smoke lifters. The same site (address below) says the railroad modified the radiators, explaining the unusual radiator configuration seen here.
