This little four wheel wooden bobber caboose was built by the New York Ontario & Western Railway in 1883 and served on the end of trains until the 1920s. Purchased by the Iowa Southern Utilities Railway, it ran in the midwest until 1974 when it migrated back to the northeastern United States. Today it sits under cover at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. |
