RDG 2-8-0C #1588 - Philadelphia & Reading
Nice example of a 1905 Baldwin built Consolidation camelback, a popular design on the Reading lines. This class, I8-b, was eventually superheadted and Nicholson thermic syphons were installed by the Reading Shops in 1912. Ray W. Buhrmaster photo

Sad photo too-no headlight or whistle, stack uncovered, apparently empty tender coal bunker-I think this is an on-the-way-to-scrap photo.
