14 1/2" gauge 2-8-8-4 No. 3620 under restoration in the Merrick Light Railway shops
Even in 14 1/2" gauge, a 2-8-8-4 is big! At the time I was told they were attempting to re-gauge it to 16" for possible operation on the Whiskey River, but it ended up being sold off.

Andre, I wonder if you took anymore detailed pictures, looks like the lighting was bad...This is the "little Big Boy" that I grew up on, I hope it will run again someday, but I doubt it as it is a weird track gauge.
