| CN local approaches Towmen Rd. as it hauls 34 cars southwest via former C&NW rails at Shawano Junction in the Town of Menasha, WI on 24 Oct. '15. I'm not sure of the train's origin or destination, but it did not appear to be one of the normal locals. This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW mainline through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails, the rails in the foreground. |
