This would be a common power consists coming out of Oak Point for the transfer to the LIRR. Not so much out of Oak Island on a road train. A trio of B23-7s work at Binghamton with OIBU. This view gives a good overview of the Erie station area. The cars are parked on the site of the Erie passenger station, a large building that was razed shortly after CR took over the Tier. The brick building seen under the Chenango St bridge is the old Erie freight house, which itself would come down in 1999.
