| Originally built for the Detroit Southern as their #75 by the Rhode Island Locomotive Works in Decembeer of 1902, this Consolidation became the Detroit Southern when the D&S was absorbed into the Detroit, Toledo & Southern in 1905. White painted driver sidewalls adds to the sharp look of this loco. Thanks to Chuck Zeiler's research, we now have some basic specs available.. Original specs - serial #26867, psi boiler pressure of 175 lb, 19x26" cylinders with 57" drivers, engine weight of 162,300 lb and modest tractive effort of 26,500 lb. Thanks, Chuck, for the info.
