Huntingdon. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train East of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, during October of 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #2428, an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Along with two other locomotives, it is pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train down the Juniata River Valley. A long stretch of US Route 22 is visible on the right. |
