Mason Soliday General 7553’s long hood was amazingly still intact, but that locomotive alongside D9-44CW 5212 were damaged beyond repair and scrapped. 3967, 5162, and 5416 were completely destroyed, with 5416 all burned out. What was left of BNSF 7838 was likely scrapped for parts. 7907 and 8191 were repaired and put back into service. 8234 and 3970 were undamaged and were almost immediately put back into service. 5/28/2023 4:59:24 AM
