| Nice example of a 1913 Baldwin built American-type locomotive although the photo is degrading due to age. The 6 1/2-mile (10-km) railroad connected Ferdinand, Indiana and nearby Huntingburg. Specs - bldr #40594, 60" drivers, 160 psi boiler pressure, 15x24" cylinders, petite engine weight of 80,000 lb, petite tractive effort of 12,240 lb. The loco was retired in 1951 and scrapped in 1952.
