Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 09 August 1961. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #8669 and #8672. Both are AS-18AM's built by the American Locomotive Company in 1958 and rated at 1,800 horsepower each. Originating in East Altoona, they have travelled to the Wye Switches in Duncansville and are now backing into the Hollidaysburg Yards ~ where they!will pick-up a train of new hopper cars (produced by the PRR's Samuel Rea Shop), and pull them up the New Portage Branch via the Muleshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West. Also visible are the PRR's Freight Station on the left and Hollidaysburg's historic "Chimney Rocks" on the right. This photo taken near the intersection of Blair and South Juniata!Streets.
