At one time, this job, which was, and may still be, UT 1, ran to Sherburne and swapped trains with BH 1(or BH 2, depending which crew had it), and returned home, the cars going on to customers at the opposite ends of the branch. That was back in the 80's and 90's when they still served Victory Markets(The wholesale operation of Associated Food Store, now a long ago memory) and Chenango Valley Pet Food in Sherburne, among other places. This unit would work alternately out of Utica or Binghamton, along with stable mates C 420 2010, and GP 38 2012, and of course the remaining C 430's. Pretty shot on the most challenging part of the line, in the fall color that is like nowhere else, even New England. Home page 08-09-2021
