RRMP. Here is an original photo that I took at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on 30 June 1973. Shown here is Pennsylvania Power and Light Company engine #4094, an 0-8-0 switcher built by the Heisler Locomotive Works during 1940. According to the RRMP, "1940 Heisler locomotive No. 4094 [is] one of the very few shrouded, streamlined, fireless engines ever built. The Art Deco-inspired No. 4094 was returned to her original livery of midnight blue and silver, courtesy of a complete cosmetic restoration by Museum volunteers and staff." |
