| The BR&W freight crew waits at the NS interchange for the local to bring in a car bound for Ringoes. At first glance locomotive 1259 might seem like a new acquisition but the unit has been with the railroad since 1999, operating for the last many years in CP red and white as BDRV 8159. Built by GMD in 1960 as Canadian Pacific 8159, the unit was repainted last fall to match the other units in the Black River System's fleet. |
