UP 8119 SPU with the double-stack as she passes directly across from the camera point... and it seems I have to re-figure out what zoom setting fits a standard power unit - minor color correction, double-unsharp mask (out of camera, then after resample down to posted image size) - shot at 1/500s f5 ISO160... and panning - which seemed to work a little better on the Sony than set shots - go figure. Panning is one of the things I could get myself into trouble with on the Canon group. See? Im not completely down on Sony - I just have to always find relatively bright sun, fast shutter speed, no horizontal/vertical movement except body-pan. Does that mean I have to take up regular rail fanning techniques? (This was shot in what would probably be a more natural fan type image - I caught sight of the approaching headlights and dodged off the road in an almost appropriate area and got out of the vehicle (instead of my usual shoot from moving vehicle). |
