Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania-Reading sand and gravel train of 65 cars leaves Millville, N.J., behind engines of both roads." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1233, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built as an H-8B in Juniata during July of 1909, rebuilt as an H-9S in February of 1917, and retired in July of 1948. |
