| A sad CSX reunion of sorts is taking place at Metalico Scrap in Brier Hill, Ohio in this March 27, 2017 photo. Several CSX C40-8s were piled amongst the scrap, including CSX #7597 (pictured here), CSX #---9, and CSX #7598. Though I didnt see it while I was trying to get my shots as quick as possible and leave, I would also assume CSX #7548 was there as well, as I saw it being trucked in on January 11. CSX #7597 was built in June of 1990. Also amongst the pile was Canadian Pacific #5612 (SD40-2) and Dakota Minnesota and Eastern #6365 (SD40-2; City of Wolsey). All of these units were trucked here from Larrys Truck and Electric (LTEX). |
