| Original photo of the Montreal Locomotive Works 2-8-0 Consolidation built for the Canadian Pacific in 1904. The loco first carried the number 1606 but later renumbered. Specs - M4a class, 58" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 192,500 lb, tractive effort of 36,192 lb. All of the MLW built members of the class lasted until after WW II with the last one, #3415, being scrapped in 1959. Unknown photographer. |
