Westbound Coal Train
Southern Pacific U33C 8663, GP35 6628, GP20 4063 and GP20R 4100 power a 90-car westbound coal train up the Huey P. Long Bridge. The coal originated in Illinois on the Illinois Central Gulf and was bound for Mexico. This was not a true unit train, as it had been divided into several cuts when it was interchanged from the ICG to the SP near the east end of the bridge.
