I Caught Them At Last!  Contributor's Pick!
I finally bagged the three units Progressive Rail was using on the ex-Minneapolis, Northfield, and Southern main from Lakeville to Northfield (their "Jesse James Line") before they were moved to the Wisconsin Northern, where their six-axle configuration came in handy on the lighter rail there. I wish #40 was leading, since she is the prize of the group--she also sported that number and wore the same paint job for the Minneapolis, Northfield, and Southern, but rather than trespass into the yard to get a head-on shot, I made do with what I had.

Andre Wehrle General Great shot! As of a year later, 42's "Proud Shortline Partner of Canadian Pacific Railway" signs have been removed. 40 still sports them. 11/2/2018 6:45:47 PM
