Here is page eight of an eight-page article by William D. Gorman entitled "Steam From Altoona." It was published originally in the December 1963 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 31. Partial Caption: "No. 3747, class K-4s, rolling over the New York & Long Branch on a Sunday afternoon in August '57." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3747, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920 and retired in November of 1957 after 37 years of faithful service.
