Although not marked, this appears to be an original photo taken shortly after the 1914 Alco-Schenectady 2-8-0 Consolidation was built. The class G locos built between 1914-1916 were all superheated in 1918 by the BAR shops. Specs after superheating - 57" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 23x30" cylinders, engine weight of 222,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,500 lb.
