| A CN through freight parallels Harrison St. and passes the W. Cecil St. overpass (Timothy Hamblin Bridge) as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 27 Feb. '18. Consist included approximately 25 loaded CWRX rail cars. If my math is correct, the approximately 1/4-mile long rail segments could be joined together to form a section of continuous welded rail approximately 12-1/2 miles long somewhere. The W. Cecil St. overpass (Timothy Hamblin Bridge), erected to eliminate the grade crossing, opened to traffic on 20 Nov. '07. |
