Here is an original photo of a large number of Pennsylvania Railroad engines marshalled for movement to the scrap dock. Among them is #3467, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1913 and retired in October of 1950. Partially visible at the far left is PRR engine #4717, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in October of 1932 and retired in June of 1962. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. Roy Healey Collection; #7 of 16. |
