Here is a photo from a reprint of the November 1956 issue of "Modern Railroads" magazine, page 57. Photo Caption: "The biggest electric locomotives are given heavy repairs inside the huge Wilmington Shops." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4827, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built in Juniata during June of 1935, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and retired in July of 1969 after 34 years of faithful service.
