| Pendleton is interesting with the rail traffic slipping in and out without nary a train whistle. Would seem even with multiple track at-grade crossings, they're all "No Train Horn" - which means with the wind, I was often caught several blocks away from any good view of the rails and usually without correct camera settings until at least one or two units were already out of view... and while I'm whining, it was a dark-and-stormy morning. |
