| This single deck Bt cab cars are modified coaches. They have been modified when SBB decided to operate Intercity trains in push-pull mode. Thirty coaches were shortened and a equipment department and the engineers station was added. The driver stations is 1:1 copy configuration of the Re 460. Due to the set back of the entry door, the cab got a bigger side window and in case of a fire the driver has to leave on a rope out and down ... fortunately it had never been to be used so far. |
