| Price. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Enola, Pennsylvania, on 28 October 1954. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9785 and three other F-Class units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each; #9785 was built in February of 1951. They have just departed Enola Yard with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to Altoona and points West. |
