William Grimes General VSRR 900 is not a GP16, it is a GP9, nothing special done to it's engine, just a chopped nose. 9/15/2006 7:21:19 PM
Nathan Rohdenburg General MNA 483 is a Ex-UP GP20, not a GP9 9/15/2006 9:15:27 PM
Scott Bruce General ok. my 2 cents: I think the air resivors make vsrr 900 a GP18. I don't think any GP9s had that style air reservior :) 10/21/2007 6:30:28 PM
Scott Bruce General cool pictures. I like all the short line stuff. Lot more variety 10/21/2007 6:32:56 PM
Ron Moraca General I've yet to see a Class III railroad with locomotives any newer than Gen Two, which is understandable. No Class III can afford them. 3/14/2009 2:30:59 PM
Switchman Images General Shame of it is, based on a visit today (9/8/09), they no longer operate revenue freight south of Dickson. The crews comes on duty @ Watson 0600, drives up to switch the industrial park with 483-3840, and drives back. Two trestles north of the shops have been bypassed completely with an 8000' shoefly. :( 9/8/2009 10:04:01 PM
