| Even back when I didn't have to drive 8 hours to see a CNW, it was still nice to see them roll through occasionally. This was one of the last 10 operating CNW C44-9W's on the UP System and one of the last 14 at the time. Almost everything on this one was original, even the numberboards! Now, on 9-17-06, there are just 2 active CNW's, and both Dash-9's, CNW 8646 and 8701. |
