A beautiful example of a Montreal Locomotive Works 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive built in October of 1942, sits in the Stratford, Ontario, Canada, yard. The sharp looking and powerful locomotive was comfortable heading up an express passenger train until relegated to the scrappers in June of 1961. H.L.
