Main Photo Caption: "At the New York World's Fair in 1939, the 3768 was exhibited with the Baltimore & Ohio's William Mason Engine No. 25 and the 'Best Friend of Charleston.'" Prominent in both of these photos is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3768, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1920, streamlined in 1936, and retired in October of 1953 after 33 years of faithful service. |
