Tom Beckett General Cool set of photos. I always liked that LIRR repainted some of its power in a retro scheme, reminiscent of the MTA blue/yellow from the late 60's/70's. I wish they would have done a couple units in the blue/orange from the early 60's. One or two of the C 420's(the original group of 22 wore it; I don't think the last 8 got it, they were delivered in the blue/yellow) would have been really cool, and seeing RF 62/63 going to Riverhead on a freight would have been killer. I can't help but wonder how a GP 38 would have looked in it. The scheme on 614(and a couple others) was really nice looking. 7/3/2019 3:55:56 AM
