Beautiful and powerful enough to handle the rugged Rockies were these Canadian Pacific 2-10-4 Selkirk type steam locomotives. This one was built in July of 1929 (serial #67929, class T-1a) by the Montreal Locomotive Works. CP called these mighty locos "Selkirks" instead of the lower US label of "Texas" style.
