Camden. Here is the first of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3858, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1923 and retired in April of 1958 after 35 years of faithful service. The photographer's name and the road number of the PRR's Baldwin-built locomotive at the left are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #52 of 69) |
