Not much information could be found on this rare Tallulah Falls 2-6-0 Mogul #73. It was built by Baldwin prior to 1913. An article on the TF (nicknamed "Total "Failure") mentions TF 2-6-0 73 struck a log truck at a crossing in Habersham County causing a small #100 damage to the loco. Unfortunately as a result, passenger service was abruptly and permanently ended on July 31, 1946 although this photo is dated after that point. All the TF locos were sold off in 1948. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
