This good looking 0-8-0 steam switcher was rebuilt by the Great Northern shops from a 1901 Brooks class F-6 2-8-0 and reclassified as a C-2. The loco lasted until being sold for scrap in October of 1952. Rebuilt 0-8-0 specs - 55" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 21x32" cylinders, engine weight of 204,000 lb, tractive effort of 45,780 lb.
