| Beautiful action shot of Canadian National 4-8-4 Confederation type steam locomotive. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in July of 1942, the loco served in high speed passenger service until being retired and scrapped in June of 1961 after only 19 years of service. Specs - serial # 69708, class U-2-g, 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 25.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 400,300 lb, tractive effort of 56,786 lb.
