iLocomotives. Here is an image entitled "The Stone Bridge At Johnstown." Prominet here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #435, a D-11A (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops in June of 1885 and retired in May of 1913 after 28 years of service. It's pulling the photographer's train that's parked on the stone-arched Conemaugh River Bridge ~ the very same Bridge which damned-up the surging waters during the "Johnstown Flood" on 31 May 1889.
