Long before a GP35 diesel carried the SLSF #708, this 4-6-0 had the honor. Built by Alco-Brooks in June of 1906, this loco was superheated by Frisco in 1917. It lasted on the roster until it met its final moments in August of 1951 when it was scrapped at Springfield, MO.
