| East Altoona. Here is the first of two successive images of photos (converted to B&W) by Mike Zollitsch that were taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in June of 1954. Prominent here is the Pennsylvania Railroad's East Altoona Roundhouse. In front of it are several stored steam locomotives, as well as one that's shifting two freight cars about the Yard.
