Built by ALCo-Brooks in October of 1912, Illinois Central #1106 (serial #52155) served the IC faithfully. In September of 1942, it was rebuilt and renumbered IC #2095. The loco was later sold to Feliciana Eastern RR in April of 1952. The later disposition is unknown. Original specs - 75" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 25x26" cylinders, engine weight of 247,500 lb, tractive effort of 33,150 lb. R.H. Carlson photo |
