Long and powerful are two descriptive words that fit Canadian National 4-8-2 Mountain type steam locomotive #6005. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in July of 1924 (serial #1701), the loco served magnificiently until being scrapped in August of 1955 when diesels came on the roster.
