Here is page 11 of a 12-page article entitled "Who Says Everybody's Flying?" It was published originally in the June 1958 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 26. Top Photo, Partial Caption: "Big, bold, and beautiful ~ what else can you say for the 4-8-4's that continue to wheel Norfolk & Western passenger trains between Norfolk and Cincinnati, including the all-coach 'Powhatan Arrow.'" Shown here is Norfolk & Western Railroad engine #601, a Class J-1 (4-8-4) built in Roanoke during 1943. It's the only steam locomotive among the 39 different railroads and streamliners pictured herein!
