| The sun was essentially directly over the tracks at this time, so I wanted to make sure that I shot the westbound in a location where the tracks werent directly east/west. With Elton Road closed, I had to drive about 2 miles further north to Hackett Road where the tracks angle more north than run west. I drove pretty leisurely and wasnt aware that the train was directly behind me the entire time. I was quite surprised when I heard the sharp K5LLA down at the next crossing down, and was even more surprised to see the other 2 tunnel motors hosted on the roster leading the train. While I would have rather seen the DRGW lead, the UP one is pretty cool nonetheless. WE 237 was the symbol, and this train was basically a counterpart of the inbound train (heading to Carey) but this one had no stone cars. |
